TeamUp5G project, March 2019.
Eclexys SAGL is taking part in a European research project, called TeamUp5G, in which 18 organisations, research institutes and companies from seven countries are participating, with the aim of analysing the major challenges faced by 5G communications networks as well as training future European leaders in these technologies. The Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), in Spain, is coordinating this H2020 project. (link).

ITS2016 (Melbourne, 10-14 October 2016): The increased availability of GALILEO satellites with respect to 2016 allowed expanding the scope of previous field trials and to further improve localization robustness. An improved server and GUI was developed to show the possibility of tracking patients and medical assets in any point of the world, exploiting at best the reliability of the GALILEO signals. An optimized connection with 3G cellular networks was successfully developed and tested in extremely though environments (inner Australian Desert) before the said conference.

ITS2015 (Bordeaux): Under the auspices of the European GNSS Agency (GSA), ECLEXYS has presented the first low cost, multiconstellation personal tracker especially optimized for position assessment of potentially critical outpatients and medical emergency vehicles (ambulances, medical cars etc.). The joint use of GNSS/ GALILEO/ GLONASS makes possible to obtain localization also in urban canyon or in environment where the sky view is greatly obstructed, allowing to pinpoint exactly the user’s position in emergency.
